Google Analytics 

We use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, with its registered office in Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (“Google”). Google uses cookies. 

The information generated by cookies about the use of our website (e.g. IP address of the accessing computer, time of access, referrer URL and information on the used browser and operating system) are usually transmitted to Google servers in the US and processed there.

The use of Google Analytics is consistent with our legitimate interests (Article 6 Section 1 sentence 1 letter f of the GDPR) concerning the analysis and optimization of our online offer as well as commercial operation of this website. Therefore, Google processes the information on our behalf to evaluate the use of the website, to compile reports on the website activities and to provide us with other services related to the use of the website and the internet for the purpose of market research and tailoring of these websites. 

We have entered into a data processing agreement with Google to use Google Analytics. Through this agreement, Google assures that they process the data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation and ensure the protection of the data subject’s rights. 

We only use Google Analytics with activated IP anonymization. This means that the IP address of the users is shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be sent to a Google server in the US and shortened there. The IP address will not be merged with other data provided by Google. 

Google’s Universal Analytics with User ID is not used by us. 

The user data collected via cookies are automatically deleted after 12 months. 

You can prevent the installation of cookies by setting the browser software accordingly. We point out, however, that in this case not all features of this website may be fully exploited. 

In addition, you may prevent the collection of the cookie files generated and data and related to your use of the website data (including your IP address) and the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing a browser add-on. • pursuant to Article 16 of the GDPR, the right to request information about your personal data stored by us or to supplement such data. 
• to demand, pursuant to Article 17 of the GDPR, the cancellation of your personal data held by us, unless the processing is for the exercise of the right to freedom of expression and information, for the fulfillment of a legal obligation, for reasons of public interest or for the assertion, exercise or defense of legal claims;
